Hi Guys,
All the newest 3D Graphic Accelerator use Triangle. So if you pass array of vertex for a polygon, or pass a Rectangle, the librairies will add some call to convert it to triangles. So if you dont want those extras calls only use Triangle !!!

I''m trying to make my own software 3D engine, so it doesnt matter what the hardware likes (or does it?)
I dont think it does. Is there any way to use hardware acceleration without using dx or opengl?
Zalian: I just started 3d so i dont use either, but I do use DX for my 2d games, I''ve gotten to know it pretty well but I haven''t seen opengl at all
