Howdy. I''ve started getting into programming for the PalmOS and am over 1/2 way through a simple puzzle game. In the future, I wish to design a game (eg a screenflipping game with a static background and a character running around), but I''m not sure the best way to go about storing level data. ie. Background images and objects as well as the object movement patterns and which objects are dangerous/helpful, etc. Does anyone know a site with a tutorial on storing data like this? Preferably for layers of data (background, objectlayer 1, objectlayer2, foreground) for instance. I''m guessing the best way to reference them is from some sort of linked list, but how do I store the data in the meantime before I add them to a list? TIA.
