Java Mastermind

Hi all been a while since i been here hows everyone doing? At uni ive just started doing java and have to create a mastermind game with GUI, i dont want anyone to do my assignment for me but any advice and/ or tips would be great. at the moment i dont have any idea what to do but im sure i can learn quickly anyway . wish me luck

If you want to do a game project, than i would recommend you to do tetris or snake... or a __higher_one__ like mahjong...

but mastermind is too heavily conected with A.I. to be learned quickly...


a good point to start would be to make a stone-class, storing each stone''s location, colour, and whether it is selected...
than write a random generator and place your stones ( stone class extends awt.component ) on window...

our new version has many new and good features. sadly, the good ones are not new and the new ones are not good
idea for the gui use radio boxes for a quick layout for the pegs.
