I was thinking it might be useful to have a language which has no implementation of its own, just parsers which could convert it into other forms. In this way, the same routines would work across platforms regardless of the underlying language support. This would be lCD or language Common Denominator, and be based on the concepts shared across ALGOL derived languages. Such that it may only reference numbers, strings, functions, objects, and references to such. Plus have a simple syntax which can easily be read and parsed into another language form. is there already anything like this? JP
