Hi I am trying to get a pmesh working from my 3dstudio object.. I have created an object with two levels of detail in 3dstudio and tried exporting it with both the panda plugin and the sdk plugin, neither seem to understand levels of detail although they load fine as regular meshes. Has anyone figured out how to get this working?

Just as a followup here I tried creating a more complex mesh in 3dstudio and after I exported it, I was able to automatically PMesh it down to a simpler object. This doesn''t seem to work with objects that are too simple (the first one I tried on was a cube with bevelled edges).

I still don''t see any way of manually creating a less detailed object to ''switch in'' automatically, perhaps this kind of level of detail isn''t built into direct3d and has to be coded by us?
