Is there any way to check for key presses when your program is not the active window? If so, how? if not, then how do you monitor keyboard status without these events, i looked around in the msdn librairies, and made a few code tests, but when i tried to get the keypresses i would get long strings of text with what seemed like a binary value instead of just getting a single char variable... _________________________________________ "Why, why why does everyone ask ''''why'''' when ''''how'''' is so much more fun" -Spawn 1997
