hi i trying to write a small terrain map generator but i am have a few problems understanding the basics please clarify.
if you have patch useing indexed primitives, and a map say, 64*64 you want to make out of the patches how do you aply height
values of the map for the patches i have been trying to do this alone for the past few days with a few tries.rendered results were always wrong tried tutor but for compelete understanding they would have to respond to questions.

thanks for the reply but the method is on one large mesh its easy to apply height values that way. but extracting the values for seperate patches and have them correctly applied is hard as hell i tried clamping sides but that limits scale
