Win32 windows and exclusive directdraw

Happy Hollidays all, Does anyone have a clean and simple implementation of how to use WIN32 Windows *lets user the common dialog boxes* while under Exclusive Fullscreen DirectDraw ? code, and/or explaniation would be great, I read a tutorial on it a while ago, but i was sorta half/hearted in implementing it and it didnt seem to work, but now it''s become an issue=) thanks =) Raymond Jacobs, www.EDIGames.com www.EtherealDarkness.com

You have to make sure there is a clipper set up on the frontbuffer and you have to blit the backbuffer to the frontbuffer instead of flipping. I had the same problem a while back and that is what worked for me. In the dx8 samples there is a fullscreen dialog sample that does this. I found it to work for me although I haven''t done it in a while.
