Calling cleanup in directsound destructor ,causes sound not to play

ive got a wave class that loads wave files for directsound. But when i call if (m_apDSBuffer!=NULL) m_apDSBuffer->Release(); in the destructor it doesnt play the sound for some weird reason. ... LPDIRECTSOUNDBUFFER m_apDSBuffer;
