While trying to run a program that connects to a remote database via ADO I get this strange error message, I'm sure is not the code, because I compiled the same code in another machine and it worked fine, maybe I'm missing some dll's or libs, any ideas? I'm compiling this program under Borland C++ Builder 5 and the database is on SQL Server 8.00 (I think) any ideas are welcomed [edited by - j_vitel on November 27, 2003 1:45:59 PM] [edited by - j_vitel on November 27, 2003 1:47:41 PM]

Geocities doesn''t let you put links to images...

The error is very unhelpful. Click Cancel to debug, look at what''s failing... what function calls are on the call stack. If you look into the builder libraries (assuming you''ve got source, which you probably do), what is the code trying to do? Is there a comment about what the assert is testing for? Did you pass something invalid arguments?
