Hello, I have a question regarding to DirectX 8.1 function OptimizeInPlace(). I found out the the resulting mesh after the call of the is function will not be always the same. What I mean is that if I do this (with the same flag of course): OptimizeInPlace(&mesh); meshA = mesh; OptimizeInPlace(&mesh); meshB = mesh; meshA and meshB will be different. I wonder whether it is the correct behaviour of this function? I am asking this question because in my case, I found out that rendering meshA is much slower than rendering meshB. Can anyone has the same experience or tell me the behaviour of this function? Thanks!!

What do you mean that they''re not the same? How are they different?
