My question is very basic: How to get the texture name from a x-file? For example: I have a x-file with a texture called "wood.bmp". I know this texture refers to indice 0. Suppose that I want to pass the name for a function, as following: ... Texture_Name ( matMaterials[0].pTextureFilename ); ... where the function is: BOOL Texture_Name ( LPSTR name ) { if ( name == "wood.bmp" ) return TRUE; else return FALSE; } Why the function returns FALSE? Thanks for the help.
