DirectX9 Tutorial??

Can anywhere find DirectX9.0 Tutorial, becuase most tutorial on gamedev.net or web site is focus on DirectX8.0. As we all know, some different in DirectX8.0 and DirectX9.0. When I see the simple example about DirectX8.0. It need to getadapterdisplaymode but DirectX9.0 no need to getadapterdisplaymode and it have the method called SetFVF, but DirectX8.0 is not have. (PS. I am talking about Direct3D). SO, anywhere can I know more how to use DirectX9.0? Thx for your help

Actually, Direct3D9 does have GetAdapterDisplayMode, and Direct3D8 has SetFVF. Microsoft has tons of info over at msdn.microsft.com, but only look there if you have some experience with Direct3D. Otherwise it would be way too confusing.

The DirectX SDK Documentation is a great resource, it even has tutorials that you can follow. It also has listings of all the functions you can call, what they do, and the parameters they take.

The Forum FAQ lists some tutorial sites. I''m not sure how many of them cover DX9 but it wouldn''t take long to check. I know mine does (www.drunkenhyena.com or just click my signature below)
