I have been browsing the forums as well as searching for different areas in which I can learn C++. Thanks to the searching you guys have indirectly led me to some great websites which I am trying to learn C++. I really don''t want to sound like this: "I WAS JUST WONDERING HOW CAN I BUILD A REALLY COOL CARD GAME!". I have seen to many of those kind of threads. I was just wondering if you guys would direct me in the correct direction to the starting of a card game (for those of you who know the game of Rook-- that is what I would like to make). It would involve NEW card faces and not the existing deck that is on Win32 platform. First, I would just simply like to know how to get a card game with graphics (cards) and then get a GUI going. From there actually develope AI, and ultimately online play via IP Address. This will be my first game that I even attempt to create in C++; I am not sure if it is a good choice or if their is something else I should probably learn first. Like I said if you guys know any tutorials or different websites that would help me in the creation of this game, that would be great! Thanks a lot for any help! - joshbm
