Delivering Damage!

I have a couple quick questions on how should a (server-based) multiplayer game deliver damage. Imagine a simple Warcraft game. Here''s the scenario: Player 1 selects a target and begins to fire crossbow. Player 2 (the target) revives damage from the crossbow. Should the damage be calculated on the server-side? or client-side? Thank-you for your help.
