Texture on Tri/Quads

Hi there.... when i use texture on quads(my primitive) its ok and simple to do. so i decide to change my general primitive to tri, and my textures are messed up ??? i mean, before, when i draw quad and put the texture, ok ! but now i drawing the same quad using tris... what i have to put in my texture coords ???? thanx byby

youre trying to map a quad texture onto a triangle
the only way without distortion is to just draw on one half of the texture in your paintshop program and leave the other blank

but thats a waste of half a texture i suppose u could map the other half onto another triangle
