just finished reading Real Time Terrain Rendering with DX9 and C++ pretty good book, a bit advanced for my level but all in all well worth the money. just a caveat, the author uses shaders and HLSL for just about everything. also just finished(im on a research binge) 3D Game Engine Design by David Eberly of Magic Software. omg is it math intensive, covers alot of ground but it reads like it was written by, well a doctorate of math scholar(it was of course), still a pretty decent book but pricey.
