Im trying to create a program to create a host with directplay8. In the sdk sample/tutorial host, it has CoInitializeEx(NULL, COINIT_MULTITHREADED); But when i try that in my program i get errors that CoInitializeEx and COINIT_MULTITHREADED are undeclared. Ive got the ole32.dll linked and objbase.h included. So whats the problem? [edited by - johnnyBravo on December 14, 2003 1:53:32 AM]

#if (_WIN32_WINNT >= 0x0400 ) || defined(_WIN32_DCOM) // DCOM

If you don''t have the right OS version, just use CoInitialize() instead.

with that i get fatal error C1004: unexpected end of file found,

ive got windows xp proffessional, and the command works in the directplay host tutorial,

so i dont see why its not working. Ive looked all over the internet with people having the exact same problem but their cures dont seem to be mine.
