do you think, when learning games programming, that you should know most things that are happening behind the scenes, or just be happy that they DO happen and be content with that. I have been wondeing this because as I am getting further and further in OpenGl the initialization of things is getting larger and I am wondering if I should learn this and know exactly what is happening, or should I just be content that I know how to USE that code to do what I want to do.
