Split Screen

Does anyone know how to make a split screen? for a 2d multiplayer game ala metal warriors. I''m using visual C++ 6.0 and directx9.0 any help would be appreciated thanks

I believe it''s done with viewports. But not having done it myself I can''t say for sure... but take a look at viewports and see if that''s what you need.

I made a game that had splitscreen once, and I still have nightmares about it. I had to code everything twice (once for each viewport). I just can''t believe that''s the only way to do it. So please, if anyone knows how to do this...There has got to be easier way to do it.

P.S Landi, you could try my technique, but I wouldn''t recommend it.
