i can''t find it in dxsdk or google. and there is also a "warning unsupported interface identifier passed to QuaryInterface for IDirect3DDevice9" this two messages came out repeatedly while the program is trying to render video frames with vmr9 and pixel shader. my graphic card is fx5200 and i set to use dx debug ver.

look in the msdn docs, the source must be in D3DPOOL_SYSTEMMEM and the destination must be D3DPOOL_DEFAULT or something like that

well i feel like an idiot, i assumed you were trying to updatesurface() i have no idea

all what i queried are:

IVMRFilterConfig9,IVMRSurfaceAllocatorNotify9,
IMediaControl,
IMediaEvent,IGraphBuilder,IMediaSeeking,

the parameters together are of the same type with the interface.
but i still got the
"warning unsupported interface identifier
passed to QuaryInterface for IDirect3DDevice9"
when running IMediaControl->Run()
