FastBlt() throught video memories?

So, assume that I´ve succeed with loading a bitmap to an DDSurface. Now, I would like to paint it to my back buffer.. Shall I do it with FastBlt()?? Cuz blting is slow ´n stuff.. If you compare FastBlt and Flip, There is a BIIIG difference between the speed of them.

Typically you blt (or fastblt) to your backbuffer for all your tiles and sprites, then Flip to present the result. I''m not sure you can use Flip to blt like you want. I don''t remember much of DDraw though.
