I''ve been thinking about this for awhile. I want to make a templated framework where test code can be automated. The idea is that testing can be hooked up intrensically to data and also functions can be somehow also hooked up in a similar manner. So as you build your classes, the testing framework manifest to your data and class hiearchies, using the idiom of data and functional inheritance. This seconday hiearchy is conditionally compiled, so you can tune the performance vs testing done at runtime. Similar to how garbage collection works on 4th gen high level langauges, i think its possible to develop a test framework which can automate much of the testing that programms need to do. Does anyone know of any projects similar or have any ideas on how to implement such a framework? -ddn
