Whats the different between a shadowmap and a lightmap? You render a lightmap to represent light, and a shadow map to repesent shadows? ..or..isn''t that the same?

No, that is not the same. A lightmap would represent how a light source would affect the texture. A shadowmap would represent how other objects (blocking the light) would affect the texture. I think that''s how it is, anyways.
