Catastrophe in realloc: invalid storage ptr

Hi, i know that my pointer is pointing to a string, so he should be valid. realloc(*ppcString, 2048); in debugger: ppString: ->->''BlaBlaBla'' what can be the cause for such an Catastrophe ? Lazzar

hi,
you are right.
it seems the string was not allocated with *alloc....

It works now with a different pointer...

I am making this change deep in a existing program and i didnt go back far enough to check the String.
