.SPR Format..

Yeah, I''m about to ask how to use .spr format in VB6, how to use it also in DX7(i mean how to read it and display).. Please someone help, because i don''t want someone to change my pics in a game.Thanks!

I don't use VB w/ DX so i can't help you, but you should know that there could be hundreds of different types of .spr file formats (it's not like a pcx file or wave file which has a standard format). If you want help you should say what app this .spr format is from.

Most of the time it is just raw image data. If you know the sizes of the picture(s) in the .spr file you probably can calculate if there is extra data in it. If it isn''t raw image data there is probably a header of a few bytes containing the sizes and colordepth for instance.

Yes, i do know that there r a lot of .spr formats... I do need one for easiest reading for surfaces for my game.. Any sprite format, i think ,will be good, but if you know, tell me the best for VB6/DX7.. Thanks.
