normal or not normal?!

i think i have fixed my function that import normal but now i have the same result of when i didn''t have setted the normal!my model appear as a single flat polygon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so my question is: what the hell i have to set for having a decent result? i have setted (don''t know if in the right way)the ambiental and diffuse light but they seem don''t be enough!

If you don''t use per-vertex normal, the smooth of your models is the same than if you aren''t using lighting.
If you want to obtain an impressive smooth quality improvement you have to specify per-vertex normal and not per-face normal.

Chris82, I''m slightly confused, does it still appear that there is no lighting, or it just doesn''t look smooth?
