i''m programming with sdl for a while, and now i want to port an old c++/directx code to my linux with sdl. but there are two problems. i think SDLvideo is much slower than DirectDraw. I''m using double buffering, fullscreen mode and stuff like this. when i''m blitting my main scene, a pre-rendered graphic, with a size of 848x768 the programming begans to became slower over the time. this would be really bad when i would try to implement sprites and such things the second problem is that i''m not able to perform hit-testing like i would do... i used CreatePolygonRgn from GDI before and i would now if i could do the same thing when i use opengl. rectangle regions wouldn''t be enough because my scene is isometric. it would be nice, if someone could help me bye
