C# & DirectX 9.0

I''v brought 3 books on C# and DX now, Intro to 3D Game Engine Design, Advanced 3D Game Sumit or other, and another 1, all of which have been _completly_ useless, they use refences to prebuilt classes and functions that arent even covered in the entire book and splat 20 pages of useless source code followed with a 2 line explanation every chapter. Could anyone recommend a good C# and DX book to do with 3D gaming, if there are any.
