Using textures for tiling in d3d

Reading brakets article I was curios how to load more then one texture from a bitmap. Seems kinda wastefull to have each texture in a seperate .bmp file - Anyone got a function to do this? thanks Lep *i probably could figure this out but I''m too damn lazy
