Problem with Visual Studio .NET
Sorry if this isn''t the right forum to post a technical help question, but if anyone can help I''d appreciate it.
I''ve got an Academic version of Visual Studio .NET 2002 and while it compiles and executes downloaded tutorial code, I''m having trouble getting it to do it from a fresh project.
Whenever I try to Build or Start a project I''ve made, the build goes through without any trouble, but the program can''t find the executable. It just says, "Cannot find (path)\(name).exe"
I''ve done a full search of my hard drive and cannot find any executable with the name of my project.
Did I forget a setting or something?
I''m guessing your path contains a space "eg: c:\My Projects\game.exe"
Try enclosing path of the $(SolutionDir)\Debug\ .. with quotes
Try enclosing path of the $(SolutionDir)\Debug\ .. with quotes
If the previous poster''s advice doesn''t fan out, post your BuildLog.htm. It''s a HTML file in the Debug or Release directory.
