No, thats templates not template metaprogramming. Template metaprogramming is a technique that uses templates to do calculations at compile time to create code that is optimal for the system. This is useful for things like compiletime assertions. There is a good article on using template metaprogramming for vector calculations on flipcode, although it can be a bit mind boggling at first, it''s definitely worth looking into.
