I don''t know if many of you have heard of this game it kinda was unnoticed I think? But its a good game and the levels are using .bsp files but after analyzing them in a hex editor; they don''t appear to be the typical BSP file format at all? Does anyone know where someone can find information on the file format it uses ? coder requires 0xf00d before continue().

for an ''unnoticed game'' like this one, you might want to email directly to the developer. The bsp is probab;y their own format, that just happens to have the same extension as a Quake3 bsp map.

Not always, but they like their fans, that''s for sure.

I remember where I used to work, one coder did a patch for a guy who had a video card issue. Just for him. He had to mail us to get the thing fixed, as the publisher simply ignored him, and probably many like him. Then the fix ended up on a patch.

And that''s just an example.

The coder also did a special version of the game, going about 50% faster than the original (probably because it was too slow for him, even though the game was notoriously insanely fast already). But It never got released, for copyrights reasons, probably, since the developer didn''t owned the rights anymore. You can never underestimate the stupidity of a the monkeys in suits in this business.

From my experience, developers are quite cool, they are gamers after all.

At least you can ask them, it will cost you nothing. They can help you, or not
