Frustum - 2d matrix

Hi; Im making a terrain renderer, using quadtree...i have a 2d matrix that represents the leaf nodes of my quadtree, and i wanna project the frustum in Y plane, to get a square representing the visible leaf nodes (the cels of my matrix...) how to project it, to have a starting x and z point, and an ending x and z point? thanx
