I tried lesson 24 on my machine and it turned out that the cube/sphere/cone only showed black. And when I typed a "ESC" key, it crashed ! Configuration: 3dfx v2 1000, opengl 1.0 Thanks,

Does your configuration supports Shpere Mapping? (I think it''s what the tutorial is about, right?)

I doubt it does, as is it quite old, now, but I might be mistaken.

Thanks for your reply, Zealot.

I think it is my 3dfx driver which caused this problem.
Maybe I need either a new driver or new video card. I
really don''t like my video card( or its OpenGL driver ?)
, it often crashes my system with no reason.
