Fullscreen ALT-TAB

This frusterates me - in DirectX 8.1 I can''t get my fullscreen application to handle alt-tab task switching. Sometimes when you press alt-tab it renders another frame or the like... it''s a mess. If anyone has any suggestions or code they could dump it''d be appreciated. I handle my WM_ACTIVATE and check after I present the screen, but I can''t seem to get it right. Anyway, thanks in advance. -Billy

I''m afraid so. The problem is that it if you alt-tab sometimes it redraws the screen over the desktop. It behaves like normal windows, my application has drawn one frame over it, so you can''t see anything. It''s driving me nuts.

Also, it works for directx 9 but not directx8.1, so they must have changed something to make it work, but i can''t figure out what and I''d rather not use dx9 since a lot of people don''t have it yet.
