I have been using the SDL tutorial at cone3d or something. In the first tutorial it says to write #include <SDL/SDL.h>, however when I do this it doesnt compile, it only compiles when I write #include <SDL.h>. Is this something I need to worry about or am I being something stupid?

#include <SDL/SDL.h> just means that you are including the file SDL.h from the directory SDL in your include base directory. Because it compiles when you use #include <SDL.h>, that means that your SDL.h file is in you base include directory. There''s nothing wrong with this.

The SDL webste recommmends that you write it as #include "SDL.h" so people who have the SDL headers in a different directory dont have to fiddle about with their compiler directory settings
