redundant SetTextureStageState

I have the following warning when compiling : Direct3D9: (WARN) :Ignoring redundant SetTextureStageState. Stage: 0, State: 1 Should I worry ? Does it affect the overhall performance of my application ? thanks for your help

It means that you are setting a state that has already been set previously so direct3d is ignoring your state set. Tey are somewhate of a performance hit, not really though. But you are calling a d3ddevice method that inturn calls the driver so it is kind of a waste.
