did anyone saw the tutorial for directX9 managed code in DirectX4VB.Com, the application runs at 65 frames per second, isn''t it very slow for a simple application like this, because I saw more complicated apps in VB which are running at high speed like 700fps, so what I want to know is if the code wrote there is not so good and slow?

Although 700fps is a very high rate, it''s something completely frictional and doesn''t stand in the real world. What you can logically see as your frame rate NEVER can be more than the refresh rate of your monitor, at least let''s say if we have even fps of around 1000, we can''t feel it in the monitor more than almost 100. But about your question, surely a sample which runs in DX4VB.com is efficiently designed. A program running in full-screen mode is much slower than windowed.
Visit galaxyroad.com which soon will have english contents too
