Visual C++ MFC SytemDialog problem

I am wondering about a stranege phenomenon. I have created a system modal dialogue (a list window that is wanted to have visible during the app''s time) and set up messaging between this and the dialogue window. This works fine in debug mode, but when I switch over to release mode I get access error messages. This has, that''s what I know, to do with the messaging. I used GETGUIT to create a unique MessageID: Any idea?

I found out that the system dialogue aspect is irrelevant.
So the question is: How come that a windows messaging which runs in debug mode does not if you release it?
