Does gamedev have any articles on uses timers in d3d applications. If they don''t I thought it would be really helpful if someone could write some nfo on them. Not creating and setting them up but, using them to apply all of the transformations for the views and drawprimitives used in actually rendering the scene. -Jer It's not reverse engineering, unless you get caught.

well there is not really much to write about once you have the timer set up. Once you have calculated the elapsed time since the last frame you simply scale all translations and rotations using this value.
