DOS error maybe, not sure.. need help!

If you run a DOS based program from windows the DOS screen will only stay up for the duration of the program. So if the program asks for user input then you would be able to see the program.

The other way to run these programs is to go to the command screen and run them from there (but you have to type in the full path of the filename or change to that directory to run it).

i''m using bloodshed dev c++ and when i run anything it''s just the black screen that i suppose a typical program would run in. whether or not it''s DOS i can''t say with certainty due to lack of knowledge!
