Cold War: Melting Point (56k: be warned)
Cold War: Melting Point is a multiplayer modification for the Valve Source Engine. It will be released as a free download.
The Site
Campaign Mode:
In the campaign mode players will play through one of many campaigns (Middle East and Eastern Europe initially, many more in the late releases). Each campaign will be played out dynamically, that is to say that next battle (map) will be dependant on the results of the current battle. So if NATO wins one map, the next map will deeper into the Warsaw Pacts initial lines. And the system isn’t so simple that it is just if NATO wins you go to this map, there are different “levels” of victory and they will all affect what map is next. There will also be strategic influences, such as oil (need it to run vehicles), food (affects initial health, moral, etc), and reinforcements, which is how many time your team can respawn.
Fully Dynamic, allowing for a different experience everytime you play the game!
Class System:
In CW:MP we will be using a class system for the player's character. There will be 8 classes; Rifleman, Automatic Rifleman, Grenadier, Medic, Sniper, Forward Tactical Observer, and a class dependant on the map.
The player will have a large variety of weapons to choose from, giving them thier choice.
The team has been together since May 2003, and we are awaiting the release of the SDK, which will be in a few weeks.

some folks are just a little lazy by nature..
a direct link to your thread in the help wanted forum might be helpful
(...although you probably wouldn''t want lazy people such as this on your team)
fantastic models by the way.
