What is the difference between Component and Control in VB.Net 2003. When I try to "Add New Item" to my project, I have a few options that seems to satisfy my needs: Component, User Control, Inherited User Control, and Custom Control. Can someone please explain the differences and features of these four things? Thanks in advance.

I reserve the right to be wrong, but I believe that a Component is any kind of object that provides a COM interface, whilst a Control is specifically a variety of Component that can draw itself in a window and respond to user events. I''ve no idea what the difference between those three control types are, though.
