Im intresting in diffrent sort of methods for texture generating but I am a beginner to the subject. I don´t really understand how to make a subplasma effect. If somebody can show me I be grateful. Im also intresting in learning cellplasma and perlins noise. Thanks, Gandalf the Blue

... I´m a beginner to the subject and I don´t really know the definiton of a subplasma function. But if you look at this web page you know what I mean:

http://www.cfxweb.net/origarticle_64ktxt.shtml

My goal is to generate textures that simulate diffrent sort of patterns in nature with help of noise created by random numbers.

I have tried to create a subplasma pattern but it is hard to both get a random shape of the "plasma" and still maintain the tileable effect.

If you could explain fractal subdivision or maybee give me a link to some good page I would be grateful!

Here is 2 other links about procedural textures:

Thanks,
