I am making a cheesy console animation Valentine''s Day card for my girlfriend w/ VC++. At the end of the card I want the screen to instruct her to "press any key to quit." I''m not sure how to do this though. I envision entering a while(true) loop until any keyboard input is entered, but I''m not sure how to implement this. I think there''s som GetAsynchKeyState() function but I can''t find it in my documentation. Any ideas? cout << "Press any key to quit." char key; while(true) { // don''t know what to do here... if(GetAsynchKeyState()) break; }

#include <cstdlib>

system("PAUSE");

Add the header directive to top, and the system pause call at the end of the code. :D
