sending 1index at time to video card

their any way to send 1 index at a time to the video card? i have my terrain stored in a bunch of vbo chunks stored in a tree and it all renders fine but makes the video feel like its being raped, so i want to do some simple roam on it. do i need to build a index array and then just use the array or can i send the index''s to the videocard 1 at a time.

You can send on index at a time, but AFAIK that will cause OpenGL to draw one index at a time, each index independant of others. As such, this is only useful for drawing points. So, yeah, you''ll probably have to create an index array.
