how can i keep a win32 window from being able to be resized. i tried putting a switch for WM_SIZE in my WinProc and just having it return 0 but that closes the program... any advice?

The window style WS_THICKFRAME is the one that adds a sizing border, im not quite sure if XORing that out will help you. Otherwise, you could process the WM_GETMINMAXINFO message.

WM_SIZE only occurs after sizing happens. Check out WM_SIZING. It''s odd that returning 0 from WM_SIZE closed your program, though.
