DirectX managed documentation are so poor and with mistake. I don''t call that a documentation. I''m really tired to switch beetween the managed documentation and the C++ documentation to try to find what mean the parameters of a given function or to find which function i have to use for a given purpose. Is there anybody knowing when Microsoft will release a new version with an up to date documentation, or a link where we can have some news about next release of directx. Microsoft don''t tell us lot if thing. (sorry for my english) Thanks

The DX team at Microsoft is aware that the managed docs, well let's just say it, are almost totally useless. As for when they're going to update them, since they haven't said anything publicly (as far as I know), it's anyone's guess. But I would imagine that the DX team hasn't been sitting around idly since the Summer Update was released.

By the way, there are one or two books available about managed DX. You can find them on amazon.com

There is an "SDK update 2004" in the way, so let''s hope it has some more docs.

Meanwhile, you can:
- Try Tom Miller''s "Managed DirectX kickstart" (or something similar)
- Post your questions about the MDX docs to directx@microsoft.com
