RLE or zip

i just finished reading the article about loading textures in directx using zip files and i was wondering whether I should use zip files or RLE compression for the textures in my game?

For the cell phone game we''re working on we went with ZLIB compression. ZLIB was half the size of RLE for our dataset. RLE is faster to decompress but we opted for the size savings because of limited storage space.
